The inside scoop
“I work in administration so a typical day is not in the cards. Joking aside, my job is support services and we keep the wheels on the bus. It’s important for me that my direct contacts recognize how each person makes a difference in the big picture. We appreciate each other and work closely to the mission daily.”
“One of the most dynamic positions in the Forest Service, a Public Affairs Officer, is tasked with the coordination of all media and congressional relations on the Forest, key outreach components – including social media and web, and some conservation education activities. (Yes, that does include working with Smokey Bear!)”
